Camping Season Preparedness

Happy spring! The ground is thawing, and the weather is getting warmer.

Do you know what that means? It’s time to hit the road and start camping again!

Before you get too excited and start hitching up your trailer, you need to take some time to inspect your unit and ensure everything is in working order. We put together a spring checklist of the top five things you need to do to prepare for the camping season.

Maintaining your unit

If you’re more of a visual learner and like to follow along with instructions, check out our Tech Talk on camping season preparedness. Creed, a Technical Support Specialist, will walk you through the top five things you need to do or inspect before hitting the road.

Step 1 is to dewinterize your unit. Still need to dewinterize? We’ve got you covered!

Check out our previous Tech Talks where Jordan, a technical support specialist, shows you how to dewinterize a TAB 320 and a TAB 400. Note that if you have a Cirrus Truck Camper, the dewinterization process will be the same as a TAB 400 as they both use the Nautilus P3. You can find those dewinterization videos here!

Keep in mind this is not a complete list, so you’ll want to be sure to check your manual for your maintenance schedule. Don’t have your manual with you at the moment? No problem! We have all our manuals on our website at nucamprv.com/documents.

You can also find a more in-depth camping preparedness checklist in your manual. Below is an example of the checklist from the 2022 TAB 320 S manual.

Show off your travels

Now that you’re all set for the camping season, it is time to head off on a new adventure! We are so excited to see your travels this year! If you’re on Instagram, use #nuCampLife to show off your epic adventures.

Using the hashtag will also enter you into our weekly photo contest. Each week, we pick one photo that represents what living the nuCamp Life is all about — adventure, relaxation, and making memories that will last a lifetime. The winner is featured on our website for the week and receives some fun #nuCampLife goodies as a thank you.

Happy camping

We want to thank you for being a part of the nuCamp family and wish you safe and happy travels!

Have questions along the way? Our Customer Experience Team is always happy to help! If you have a general question, reach out to help@nucamprv.com. If it is tech-related, you can contact our Tech Department at tech@nucamprv.com.
