September 2022 Rallies and Gatherings

Looking for a chance to meet and greet with other RVers? Here are some upcoming rallies and gatherings set for September 2022! And don’t forget to check our 2022 Rallies and Gatherings post for more events!

9/2-19 — Texas Ramblin’ Roses Chapter: Rolling Rally, multiple locations

Stop 1 on the Rolling Rally is at the Durant/Choctaw Casino KOA in Durant OK, where Rally stops and the 2022 RVW Convention are discussed.

Stop 2 (9/3-9/6) is at the Cowpatty Campground & RV Park at West Fork, AR.

Stop 3 (9/6 to 9/9) at the Springfield/Route 66 KOA in Springfield, MO.

Stop 4 (9/9 to 9/12) is at Sundermeier RV Park, St. Charles, MO, followed by

Stop 5 (9/12 to 9/15) at Mark Twain Cave and Campground at Hannibal, MO. The Rally ends with a stop at the Amana Convention Center, Amana, IA from 9/15 to 9/17). Go here for more Rally Stop details.

9/5-11 — 2022 DOAI National Rally – Wyoming Stampede, Gillette, WY

In addition to fun, fellowship, great seminars, and rally activities, attendees can enjoy golf, a Bison Ranch Tour, and Eagle Butte Coal Mine Tour. Go here for rally registration.

9/9-18 — Fulltimers Chapter Rolling Rally – Quilt Themed, multiple locations

This quilt-themed trip includes visits to quilt shops and quilt museums as well as classes on quilting. Non-quilters will also have plenty of options for fun.

Stop 1 (9/9 to 9/12) is at Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground in Omaha, NE.

Stop 2 (9/12 to 9/15) is at Pony Express RV Park & Campgrounds in Maysville, MO.

Stop 3 (9/15 to 9/18) is at Timberline Campground in Waukee, IA.

Participants can join for the whole trip or just part of it and are responsible for their own reservations and expenses and traveling independently between stops. 9/11-15 — Cloudland Canyon Gathering, Rising Fawn, GA

Hosted by the Southeastern TABs, TAGs, & Friends Facebook group, the Cloudland Canyon Gathering is held in Rising Fawn, GA at Cloudland Canyon State Park. Activities during the Gathering include hiking and mingling with friends. For more information, join the Facebook group or contact host Jeff Lackey at lackeyjeff@yahoo.com. Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, Cloudland Canyon is one of the largest and most scenic parks in the state, with thousand-foot-deep canyons, sandstone cliffs, wild caves, waterfalls, cascading creeks, dense woodland, and abundant wildlife. Hiking paths include the short Overlook Trail, strenuous Waterfalls Trail, and moderate West Rim Loop Trail. The park also has mountain biking, fishing, and trails for horseback riding.

9/14-18 — Hershey America’s Largest RV Show®, Hershey, PA

Hershey America’s Largest RV Show®, presented by the Pennsylvania Recreation Vehicle and Camping Association (PRVCA), gives attendees a chance to check out more than 1,300 new RVs on a million square feet at the GIANT CenterSM in Hershey, PA. Attend seminars to learn more about RVs, talk with manufacturers and dealers, and get the latest information about campgrounds, travel adventures, products, and services. Tickets are available here.

9/15-18 — New England Teardroppers and Friends Rally, Shelburne Falls, MA

The New England Teardroppers and Friends Rally began in 2021 with the inaugural event in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Founded by nuCamp owners Lisa Morales, Jennifer Drago, and Philip Dickey, the idea was to bring together the New England nuCamp community, and a few friends with other campers, for camaraderie and learning. It worked! The second year was immediately decided for Country Aire Campground on the Mohawk Trail in Massachusetts. Contact lmoralesphoto@gmail.com for availability.

9/15-18 — Western Canada TAB Owners and Friends Get-Together, Rosebud, Alberta, Canada

Organized by Robyn Dinnadge and NuCamp Owners Group, the 3rd Annual Western Canada TAB Get-Together takes place in Rosebud, Alberta, at the High Eagle RV Resort. (Note: The Rosebud Fall Paint Out Weekend 2022 takes place the same weekend, so book early.) Rosebud is also home to the Rosebud Theatre and less than 30 minutes from the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller.

9/20-25 — 10th Annual Northeast TAB and Friends Gathering, Arlington, VT

Organizer Susan McNeil (TinyTrailerCamping@gmail.com) and the Northeast TAB and Friends Gathering is celebrating its 10th annual event with a host of activities: potluck dinner, evening campfires, morning coffee hour, a local landmark scavenger hunt, music performances by campers, and day trips in the Arlington, Vermont area. The rally takes place at Camping on The Battenkill in Arlington, and while sites with utilities are fully booked, overflow dry-camping (no utilities) sites are available. 9/22-25 — 2022 Colorado Good Sam Rally, Pueblo, CO

The Colorado Good Sam State Rally for 2022 will take place at the Colorado State Fairgrounds, 1001 Beulah Ave, Pueblo, CO., 81005. The theme for the event is “50s” (Happy Days). For more information or an an application, please email the State Director at coloradogoodsams@gmail.com.

9/22-25 — West TN Regional Mini Rally, Wildersville, TN

The West TN Regional Mini Rally, hosted by The Chapters of West Tennessee, will be held at Natchez Trace State Park– Pin Oak Campground, 24845 Natchez Trace Rd. All reservations must be made online, and all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis. Located on the shore of Pin Oak Lake, the Pin Oak campground has 77 sites that can accommodate RVs up to 80 feet in length, 2 bathhouses, 50-amp electric, sewer and water hookups. Cabins and lodge are also available. The RV camp offers a swimming beach, playground, picnic shelter, camping cabins and boat dock. 9/22-25 — 2022 Missouri State RV Rally, Sedalia, MO

The 2022 Missouri State RV Rally, with a “Cheers To 50 Years” theme, will be held at the Missouri State Fairgrounds—Mathewson Exhibition Center, 2503 W. 16th Street, Sedalia, MO 65301. Activities include indoor and outdoor games, vendors, door prizes, seminars, live entertainment and ice cream social. A Good Sam Club membership is not required to attend, nor do attendees have to be a member of a Missouri Chapter to participate in the Missouri State RV Rally. Facilities include 1,000+ Full Hook-up Sites (30/50 Electric, Water, Sewer), dump station, restrooms and showers located in the Campground. The pre-registration deadline is Thursday, September 8, 2022 and must include full payment. 2022 registrations will only be taken on site. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and received by Thursday, September 8, 2022.  A 15% cancellation fee will apply.  No refunds for no shows. 

9/29-10/2 — 2022 Kansas Good Sam Rally: 50 Years of Fun, Hutchinson KS

The 2022 Kansas Good Sam Rally, celebrating Kansas Good Sam’s Fiftieth Anniversary with a theme of “50 Years of Fun,” will be held at the Kansas State Fairground, 2000 N. Poplar, Hutchinson, KS. Events include a Cake Walk, flag parades, games, flea market, door prizes, hospitality-donuts and coffee, pancake and sausage breakfast, seminars, ice cream, rig decoration, and entertainment. There are 211 full service 50 amp hook-ups sites. Pre-Registration must be received by September 15 to obtain the discount. Make checks payable to Kansas Good Sam.
