The Iconic TAB 320 in 2023

The TAB 320 S is our most iconic teardrop trailer and the model that started our journey as the world’s largest teardrop trailer manufacturer. The TAB — along with its sister model the TAB 320 CS-S — sets the trend of tiny camping without leaving behind the essentials you want.

The TAB 320 is the perfect tiny trailer to be your home on wheels. Like past model years, the 2023 TAB comes complete with a kitchen, wet bath, central heating, and air conditioning. The u-shaped dinette also converts into a comfortable sleeping area.

There are minimal changes to the 2023 model year. The main change to the TAB 320 isn’t something noticeable to the naked eye. We upgraded the water management system from the Nautilus P2.5 to the Nautilus P3.

We felt this change would enhance the experience of our TAB 320 owners by centralizing and simplifying the water management system. This is the same system used in the TAB 400. With the previous system, the external shower and hot water bypass valve were separate from the Nautilus panel. Now, it is all in one. This will also make the winterization process easier.

A new Battle Born lithium battery package is also available. This package will increase the capacity of the battery, allowing owners to boondock longer.

Stay tuned for additional information and videos on the 2023 TAB 320!

  1. We owned a 2008 T@b 320 S( the one with the bigger bed. The length worked well for my husband who is 6”2. However….the changes that has been made…with the newer design( the framing and narrow storage area under the cabinets….shorten the length…because the back of the seat does not now lie flush. This is very disappointing because now the 320S bed is to short for not only my husband…but every person who is over 6 feet tall. I can not understand why the manufacturers would change that feature. We would now have to modify it by cutting down the wood built in…to make it bed level. Please reconsider the disign…we want to upgrade to a newer model…but it keeps us from doing so.

    1. Cold weather package? Is anyone thinking about this? It would be so easy at the factory. Many owners have done this themselves. Just a few modifications underneath to provide some insulation, maybe a 12v tank pad, and run an Alde hose through. boom. a nice late season capable set up.

  2. What type of axle is used on the 2023 TAB 320 Boondock?

Is a Maxxair fan available as an option?

Will a Lok and Roll or Cruisemaster hitch ever be an option on the 320 Boondock?

    1. The TAB 320 has a Dexter Torflex Axle. The Max Air fan is not an option, but you can contact your dealer about upgrading the fan.

  3. I believe I saw a video on a different 2023 Nucamp model that stated an upgraded Lithium Option was available and it would even run the A/C for short periods (~4 hours). I’m desperately waiting for a 320 that can run the A/C, even if only a few hours. Has Nucamp considered a similar upgraded Lithium package for the 320? Thanks!

    1. The TAB 320 does have a lithium package now available. We offer lithium packages for all our 2023 models and will have another article about that in the coming weeks. Reach out to your dealer for more information on upgrading to lithium. Thank you!

  4. What about a Tab 320s XL with a 12 inch cabinet w/counter between the bathroom wall and the bed for extra storage and floor space when in bed mode! That would be perfect!!!! So perfect!!!

    1. Thank you for your interest! You are not able to substitute a black tank for the cassette toilet.

  6. Please take a look at building a unit with a standard RV queen bed 60″ x 74″. We would love to buy one but the bed is too short to accommodate us. I am 5′ 9″ . Thanks
