Visit a National Park This Winter

Planning to visit a national park or site during the winter months? Keep in mind that not all national parks are open year-round, and weather conditions can result in unexpected shutdowns. Also, not all national parks have parking for campers or roadways that are RV-navigable. (Read our Plan a Visit to A National Park and Campendium’s America’s Top National Parks for RV Camping for more information.)

With that in mind, here’s a select list of national parks located on the continental U.S. that, as of this writing, are open during the winter months. If you don’t see your planned destination in the list, check the National Parks website for more information.
