uCamp, our annual teardrop trailer rally, brings nuCamp owners together from across the US and Canada. This five-day event is held in Sugarcreek, OH - just minutes from the nuCamp manufacturing facility. Throughout the week, you will enjoy tech talks, catered group meals, camping sessions, and meeting other nuCamp teardrop owners. We hope to see you there!uCamp24 FAQs
What amenities are at the campground?
- Water hook-ups
- Shower trailer
- Port-a-johns and hand washing stations
- A septic company will be at the campground twice during the week to pump units.
- A handicap bathroom will be labeled as a dump station for those with cassette toilets.
- Propane refills will also be available for a cost.
Is there WIFI at the campground?
No, there is no WIFI at the campground. There are local coffee shops where you can go if you need WIFI connection.
Can I have a fire at the campground?
Yes, you can have a campfire when using a fire ring. There are a limited number available at the campground. Firewood will be available for campers to use free of charge.
Can I order parts during uCamp?
Parts ordering will be in advance with pickup during the event. No on-site ordering will be available. A list of available parts will be emailed to you when it is time to order parts.
Can I schedule service?
We provide limited services during the week of uCamp. Please stay tuned for additional information about what services are available. To schedule service before or after uCamp, please contact the nuCamp Service Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What activities are there?
We are still solidifying the uCamp24 schedule. Each year, we host a variety of events such as Tech Talk Q&A sessions, a cornhole tournament, group meals, wine and cheese night, and camper-led sessions. Please stay tuned for additional details about the schedule.
Where will events be held?
Most events will be held at either the Winklepleck Activity Building or at the Glenhaven Tents. Both are within walking distance for those staying on-site and from parking areas for those driving in. We will have golf cart shuttles operating between Winklepleck and Glenhaven.
Are there any off-site events?
Yes, there are a few off-site events. uCamp attendees host an annual Cuckoo Clock Swarm in downtown Sugarcreek each year. nuCamp hosts tours at our manufacturing facility and our Service Center. There is also an open house at Timbercrest RV Park. We do not provide transportation to any off-site events.
What meals are provided?
uCamp kicks off with wine and cheese night on Monday. There are two nuCamp sponsored dinners on Wednesday and Thursday nights. A light breakfast and coffee is provided Wednesday through Friday with a hot breakfast on Tuesday morning. We will provide the menu ahead of the event. While we try to accommodate those with dietary needs, we cannot guarantee all menu items are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free.
Can I take a tour during uCamp?
We will have sign-up sheets at registration on Monday, June 10. You can sign up to tour our manufacturing facility or our Service Center. Sign-up sheets will be available at Winklepleck. Limited time slots will be available at Timbercrest.
Can I choose my campsite?
We assign you your campsite and will notify you ahead of time of your campsite number. If you have a request, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
I am arriving early or staying late. How do I pay for the additional nights?
If possible, please let us know ahead of time what dates you would like to add to your stay by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional nights are $20 per night. You can pay for additional nights during registration with either cash or check. Do not contact the Village of Sugarcreek to extend your stay.
Can you recommend any off-site campgrounds?
Timbercrest RV Park is the most popular off-site campground. Please call 330-893-2720 for availability. If you would like a list of other campgrounds, contact us at email@example.com.
I am staying off-site. Where do I park?
There is ample parking at Glenhaven for those who are staying off-site. We will have signs indicating where you can park.
I am staying at Timbercrest. Where do I register?
If you are staying at Timbercrest, you must register at Timbercrest. We will have a scheduled registration time for Timbercrest attendees. If you cannot register during that time, your registration items will be brought back to Winklepleck. We will contact you ahead of time with more information.
I am staying at Timbercrest. Are there any activities at Timbercrest?
We host an Open House at Timbercrest and encourage all uCamp attendees to check out the campers at Timbercrest. We also provide a light breakfast and coffee at Timbercrest for our attendees who are staying there.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, pets are welcome at the event. This year, there is a $10 admission per dog. You can bring your pet to any of the events. However, there may be a designated area for pets, especially during meals. Dogs are not permitted through food lines or in the shower house. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Please review our pet policy prior to attending and be courteous of other attendees.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel, please do so at least 30 days prior to the event to receive a refund. Cancellations must be made by May 10 to receive a refund.

Timbercrest Camp & RV Park
Timbercrest is just a 15-minute drive from Winklepleck Campground. They have both full hook-up campsites and electric-only campsites. There is a shower house, laundry room, free wifi, and dump station. Timbercrest is pet-friendly.
Scenic Hills RV Park
Scenic Hills RV Park is 18 minutes from Winklepleck Grove. Amenities include 112 full hook-up sites, 30/50 amp service, 40 pull-through sites, free wifi, dump station, laundry facilities, etc.
Berlin RV Park & Campground
Berlin RV Park & Campground is 23 minutes from Winklepleck Grove Campground. This campground has free wifi, 30/50 amp service, private showers, pull-through sites, and full hook-ups. It is also pet-friendly.

Amish Country Campsites
Amish Country Campsites is located in Wilmot — just 20 minutes from the Winklepleck Grove. There are 50 RV sites, and the campground includes showers, a public restroom, a dump station, and 20 and 30 amp electricity and water at each site.

Baylor Beach Park
Baylor Beach Park is 22 minutes from Winklepleck Grove. This campground has 30/50 amp service available along with water and full-service hook-ups. You'll also have access to the park and swimming area.

Evergreen Park RV Resort is a 26-minute drive from Winklepleck Grove. This campground has 87 sites. Amenities include 20/30/50 amp electric, sewer, water, wifi, an indoor pool, game room, and playground.

Tall Timber Resort is located in New Philadelphia, Ohio — 27 minutes from Winklepleck Grove. Amenities include 30/50 amp electric hook-ups, sewer hook-ups, shower house, and coin-operated laundromat. The campground is located at a lake with access to a bait shop, clubhouse, playground, and Woody's Grille Concession Stand.
