TAB 320 LITE: Adventure Made Simple, Comfort Made Affordable

The TAB 320 LITE is perfect for adventurers who want to explore the open road with simplicity. This new model streamlines the iconic TAB 320, giving it a more approachable entry point. At the same time, the LITE maintains the essential features that make teardrop camping so popular.

The TAB 320 LITE offers the same signature teardrop design and Ohio-Amish craftsmanship but focuses on what matters most: comfort, functionality, and ease of use. By removing some of the extras, we’ve made this model lighter and more budget-friendly, perfect for solo travelers or couples looking for a streamlined, hassle-free camping experience.

What to Expect in the TAB 320 LITE:

  • A cozy sleeping area with plenty of room to unwind after a day of adventure.
  • A streamlined heating and cooling system for simple, efficient climate control.
  • A well-designed kitchenette, like the TAB 320, perfect for easy meal prep.
  • A compact, functional design that makes towing effortless.
  • A convenient wet bath, maintaining the same comfort as the TAB 320.

With the TAB 320 LITE, you get a teardrop camper that’s as adventurous as you are — and at a price you’ll love. Whether you’re a first-time camper or a seasoned traveler, this camper is designed to get you out on the road and exploring in no time.

Mandy Lea and Kendrick recently visited nuCamp headquarters in Sugarcreek, OH, for an exclusive first look at the all-new TAB 320 LITE. This exciting model made its debut to dealers at the Elkhart Open House Show in September. After gathering valuable feedback from our dealers, we’ve made a few adjustments to the prototype.

Please note that we are still in the early stages of development, and additional prototypes will be created, so certain features may evolve. We always welcome your input as we strive to build RVs that not only meet your needs but also enhance your adventures, offering both comfort and convenience while exploring the beauty of the open road.

  1. I love the Tab 320 Lite. I just have two recommendation that my by helpful prior come out to the market for sale. 1) move the air condition to where the microwave was before. Why? you would ask. Well I do not imagining watching dishes and feel the air condition on my legs. 2) it is fine for most not TV for other no so much. I feel just to keep the space prepare where we can add the TV later on. Finally,
    3) the stove, I believe a portable stove will fit better. This give flexibility for those who do not cook inside but still have the option for those raining days.
I hope you able to address at least the air condition idea. Other than this three issue we love this new edition and probably will finally make the change once is available

    1. I would make the air conditioner optional- I personally would take a pass (looks completely out of place)

  2. Is it short enough to fit in a residential garage? There is a huge number of people looking for cute campers that can be stored in a garage (less than 7″ exterior height).

    1. The TAB 320 LITE will have similar specifications in terms of height to the standard TAB 320. It will not be less than 7′ in height.

  3. I like the comment about moving the air conditioner back where it used to be above the seating . I wouldn’t like reaching above someone’s head to retrieve items out of the cabinet and cold air sinks. Other brand of campers with a lower sitting air conditioner have had complaints about it not cooling adequately. Also and especially would love the in or out portable stovetop with a gas connection outside. So many Nucamp owners with the inside kitchen talk about cooking outside!! Thanks!

  4. This looks awesome! I personally would prefer a microwave over a stove. But it looks awesome otherwise. What is the target weight?

  5. I think it’s wonderful! I already have plans to put a pole up across the back where I can make that a bedroom area! Along with a nice piece of memory foam for comfort and black out curtains, it will look cosy. On a good day, I will have it tied back to show off my comforter. And on a bad day, I can leave the ties off and hide my mess back there.

  6. I would like to see 320 Lite offered in rear galley kitchen, move AC to above seating / bed area. No wetbath option or just a cassette toliet in a closet. I don’t want all the holding tanks. No holding tanks would be great. Boondock edition is a must. In a perfect world, offer a base model. Then allow the consumer to build their 320. Offer a search criteria to see if available at any dealers, if not, post the price to build. Like Vistabule or a car manufacturer offers.

  7. I’m trying to determine if a Toyota RAV4 Prime may be a good match to a T@B 320. I’m concerned about only having about 500lbs adding to dry weight and much less when adding propone tanks, added lithium batteries and starting with about three galling of potable water. Will the 320 be designed with lighter materials?

    1. Please stay tuned for specifications and other information about the TAB 320 LITE. We are still working on our prototypes and will release specifications once they are available. We suggest contacting your vehicle dealership for recommendations on vehicle towing capacity. Thank you for your interest!

  8. looks interesting 1. full spare and where would it be 2. AC in microwave cabinet, 3. will there an outlet by the stove for a coffee maker, 4, a removable stove, 5, slide slots so you can have twin beds maybe. that is all i can think of now. thanks. we have a TAG and this might fit the bill for us so i can stand and have a toliet. oh6. maybe just. the cassette. toliet with cabinets above and no inside shower. fantastic fan still correct. thanks nucamp

  9. PLEASE keep the large front storage compartment (like you have on the regular 2025 320)!! We owned a 320 previously and storage is so limited. Like where you are going with this, but please don’t put a small container on the front.

  10. PLEASE keep the large front storage compartment (like you have on the regular 2025 320)!! We owned a 320 previously and storage is so limited. Like where you are going with this, but please don’t put a small container on the front.

  12. 1. Consider freeing up the front driver side bench storage by moving the heaters to the rear. The area closest to the bathroom is much more accessible for storage.

    2. Consider relocating the kitchen sink faucet to the side of the sink next to the bathroom. With a sink cover, this will allow more use of the counter area.

    3. I think it is not a good idea to have the furnace blow directly over the bed.

  13. Is the decision to move the window A/C under sink to make it more efficient. The older T@Bs with the window A/C where microwave would be struggled in 100 degree heat.

  14. I love the LITE as shown in this promo video. The only feature that I very much wish will be available is a skylight window! Two thumbs up for stargazing in my TAB LITE!!

  15. As others have suggested move ac to microwave cabinet. Make microwave an option in location of ac. Keep height under 8ft for most garages. Portable stove to free up counter space.
When will the 320 lite be ready for consumers?

    1. Thank you for your interest in the TAB 320 LITE and for sharing your feedback. We do not have a set date for when this model will be on dealer lots. Please stay tuned for more details!

  16. Guess I’m the only one who would love to have a TV hookup? I’m happy to get an aftermarket television but the place to hang it would be an issue for me. Would love to be able to have the arm already installed. Definitely excited about this version! I currently have a 2018 T@g and think the 320 Lite will be my upgrade from that. So excited!

    1. Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying your TAG, and it’s exciting to know the LITE could be a perfect upgrade for you. We truly appreciate having you as part of the nuCamp family!

  17. I’m laughing at all these comments. Maybe custom-build to suit everyone’s needs and charge a premium! I’m a tent person just looking for a lightweight option for long-distance adventures. Sorry, but leave the microwave at home—you’re CAMPING!

    1. Thanks for sharing your perspective! We hear you—simplicity and lightweight options are key for long-distance adventures. While everyone has their own camping style, we strive to strike a balance between comfort and practicality for all kinds of adventurers. The microwave is option on this unit. We appreciate your input and hope you find the perfect setup for your journey!

  18. Thanks for heading in the right direction. Many of us just want a camper to camp in the wilderness, not a miniature RV to plug in next to a bunch of other people in an RV park. But as you get older, it is difficult to crawl in and out of a tiny teardrop, and very annoying to get dressed. So the 320 is the next best option, except for how over the years it has gotten way too complicated (and expensive).
1.) Please make the air-conditioner optional.
2.) Please, don’t have the heater blowing across the bed.
3.) Absolutely would prefer if the wet bath were optional. I sorely miss the availability of the 320U set up with its additional space and no bath. I will never sleep in the same place as my toilet. (I always set up a separate hut.) I want to buy a new camper when I retire soon, but I may look at used 320s since the wet bath takes up so much space, and I will never use it.
4.) It doesn’t look like the exterior shower on the prototype has hot and cold water. I would rather have the hot and cold water available outside for showering and dishwashing.
5.) Absolutely need to consider someday offering an all-electric version. A lot of us have been gradually moving away from propane in favor of solar. You already have stopped offering the 3-way fridge. All that is left to change is a portable induction stove instead of the gas stove (or no stove), electric on-demand hot water, and electric heat.

    1. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and detailed feedback! We understand the desire for simplicity and customization when choosing a camper, and we appreciate your perspective on how features like the wet bath, air conditioning, and exterior shower impact your camping experience. While the air conditioner and wet bath are standard features, we aim to provide versatile options like solar alongside propane to meet diverse needs. Your suggestions, especially regarding all-electric capabilities and other functional changes, have been noted and will be shared with our team. We value your input as it helps shape the future of our designs!

  19. I skipped buying a Tab because there is no dealership in rural Northern NV that will service the Aldi, and the elevation changes also challenge the system. So thank You!!! how is the on demand H2O heater fueled? Only 120 shore power, or run by propane option, or low enough wattage to run on solar?
