FAQs for uCampers

We are excited to see our nuCamp family again this June. In anticipation of the event, we have created a list of frequently asked questions to help you prepare.

What amenities are at the campground?

Winklepleck Grove is a primitive campground with 15-amp electric hookups and pit toilets. nuCamp adds amenities to the campground to make it more comfortable for uCamp attendees. Please note if you arrive early or stay past the dates of uCamp, we cannot guarantee all of these amenities will be available.

• Shower trailer
• Port-a-johns and hand washing stations
• A septic company will be at the campground twice during the week to pump units.
• A handicap bathroom will be labeled as a dump station for those with cassette toilets.

Is there WIFI at the campground?

No, there is no WIFI at the campground. There are local coffee shops where you can go if you need WIFI connection.

Can I have a fire at the campground?

Yes, you can have a campfire when using a fire ring. There are a limited number available at the campground. Firewood will be available for campers to use free of charge.

Can I order parts during uCamp?

Parts ordering will be in advance with pickup during the event. No on-site ordering will be available. A list of available parts will be emailed to you when it is time to order parts.

Can I schedule service?

We provide limited services during the week of uCamp. These appointments are made online and are first come, first serve. You can schedule your service here. If the service you are wanting is fully booked, please join our waitlist. If you are looking for a service not offered during uCamp, please reach out to to schedule or reach out to your local nuCamp dealer.

Where will events be held?

Events will be held at either the Winklepleck Activity Building or at the Glenhaven Tents. Both are within walking distance for those staying on-site and from parking areas for those driving in. We will have golf cart shuttles operating between Winklepleck and Glenhaven. You will need to drive to the Service Center or our manufacturing facility for any activities or tours held at those locations.

What meals are provided?

uCamp kicks off with wine and cheese night on Monday. There are two nuCamp sponsored dinners on Wednesday and Thursday nights. A light breakfast and coffee is provided Tuesday through Friday with a hot breakfast on Tuesday morning. We will provide the menu ahead of the event. While we try to accommodate those with dietary needs, we cannot guarantee all menu items are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free.

I am arriving early or staying late. How do I pay for the additional nights?

If possible, please let us know ahead of time what dates you would like to add to your stay by emailing Additional nights are $20 per night. You can pay for your extended stay during registration with either cash or check.

Can I take a tour during uCamp?

We will have sign-up sheets at registration on Monday, June 12. You can sign up to tour our manufacturing facility or our Service Center. Sign-up sheets will only be available at Winklepleck.

Can I choose my campsite?

We assign you your campsite and will notify you ahead of time of your campsite number. If you have a request, please reach out to us at

I am staying off-site. Where do I park?

There is ample parking at Glenhaven for those who are staying off-site. We will have signs indicating where you can park.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, pets are welcome at the event. This year, there is a $10 admission per dog. You can bring your pet to any of the events. However, there may be a designated area for pets, especially during meals. Dogs are not permitted through food lines or in the shower house. Please review our pet policy prior to attending and be courteous of other attendees.

What is the cancellation policy?

We understand that plans change! If you need to cancel, please do so at least 30 days prior to the event to receive a refund. Cancellations must be made by May 12 to receive a refund.
