Welcome to Virtual üCamp!

Every year, we host a gathering for our #nüCampFamily where campers join us at Winklepleck Grove Campground to meet other nüCamp owners, take part in various seminars, and explore the local Sugarcreek community. Unfortunately, this year, we’re unable to host the in-person event due to the campground’s closure.

We’ve always looked forward to üCamp because it was refreshing being able to connect with the nüCamp community. That is why we’ve decided to partner with Mandy Lea to host Virtual üCamp so we can still celebrate with all of you!

Virtual üCamp

Virtual üCamp will involve the creation and sharing of videos, community activities, and virtual versions of your favorite üCamp events. However, to make this happen, we need your help!

You can help make this first-ever Virtual üCamp a success by submitting short, unedited videos for the following categories. Mandy Lea will be editing all the submissions together into videos, allowing us to have a little fun and learn something new! They will be premiering LIVE on her YouTube Channel so the videos can be enjoyed by all.

We’d love for you all to participate by submitting your videos to Mandy Lea via email (mandy@mandyleaphoto.com) by midnight, June 15, 2020.

Video Details & Tips

Let’s get specific in terms of sending in your videos:

  • It doesn’t matter what kind of camera you use. A video from your cell phone camera will work just fine.
  • Please film your videos horizontally.
  • Speak loudly and avoid a lot of background noise.
  • Keep each answer or question to 30-60 seconds.
  • Feel free to participate in as many categories as you would like.

Video Categories

Answer as many of these as you would like, sending a separate video file for each category submission. If you submit a video for six or more categories, Mandy Lea will mail you a free 2020 calendar and sticker!

#1: Wine & Cheese Happy Hour

What food/drink would you have brought with you to üCamp and why? Show us and give us a “Cheers to… (insert cheers here)”.

#2: Swap Meet

Did you have something to sell at üCamp that is also available online? Show us what you’re selling and tell us where we can get it! (Please include a link)

#3: Potluck

Make your favorite dish at home or in your camper and show/tell us about it! Share why you love it.

#4: For the Newbies

What quick, basic advice do you have for newbies camping with their very first camper?

#5: Tech Talk

What question do you have for the tech team here at nüCamp? Just ask while looking at the camera or show us in your trailer. We will have Marvin and Creed record answers!

#6: Women’s Camping Tips
